With the pace of today’s technology changes it’s hard to justify forking over €400+ every few years for a new phone, so we’ve compiled a list of the top 5 phones for under €200.

First up it has to be from one of the leaders in budget phones Motorola. In the past few years, they have stepped up their game, now offering the best technology possible in a budget smartphone. They have a stellar line-up of phones in and around the €200 mark, but we’ve chosen the Motorola G4. With its big screen and good battery life this phone almost feels like a top phone.
However, if you want to splash an extra €50 we recommend the Moto G4 plus, or even better wait a few weeks for the Moto G5 plus to start shipping.

Next up is China’s own Huawei, with the Honor 5x. This phone is a whopper, with 1080p camera, 5.5inch screen, fingerprint sensor, and up to 128gb of memory. Not much more needs to be said with that tech in such a cheap phone, you are sure to be satisfied.

LG have been releasing reliable budget phones for years now and the LG K8 Indigo is no different. It has a smaller screen than the first two on the list coming in at 5 inches. It also has an 8mp camera which is more than enough. It is also 4g enabled making it an impeachable phone for its price.

It would be hard to do a list like this and not include a Samsung phone. The Samsung Galaxy J3 has all of the specs you need, 4G enables, 5 inch screen, expandable memory, a good battery and it comes with the reliability of a Samsung phone.

Last but not least is the HTC Desire 825. Released last year this phone is the most expensive on the list, but not for no reason. It has a 5.5 inch display, 13mp camera, 4G enabled, up to 256 GB storage and a dual sim.
